Intelligent Digital Health Interventions towards Prevention, Self-Management and Treatment of Pathologies (DIGHI 2019)
Digital health technology has enormous potential to transform healthcare, improve prevention, self-management and treatment of pathologies, and lead to significant outcomes for patients and medical professionals. The challenge now is to carefully design, develop and deploy intelligent digital health interventions, towards their wide adoption. The reliable use of these interventions in real life could have implications for the better engagement of individuals in management of their health condition, identification of risks, or even the introduction of new personalised treatment approaches.
The workshop on “Intelligent digital health interventions towards prevention, self-management and treatment of pathologies” aims at bringing together researchers from academia, industry, government, and medical centres in order to present the state of the art and discuss the latest advances in the area of the application of digital health technology. The workshop is expected to cover the whole range of theoretical and practical aspects, related to the application of digital health technology.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Mobile and pervasive computing
- Machine learning (retrospective studies or real-time machine learning approaches)
- Real-life digital health/biomedical interventions
- Decision support systems
- Knowledge discovery in intelligent health systems
- Natural language processing
- Electronic Health Records
